Initially, I advised this group, and other group members to ” do not wait for EPFO guidelines ” and further I also stated that ” apply the joint option physically, speed post, and through email to the concerned RPFC and the Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Delhi for those retirees who are squarely covered as per settled law of RC Gupta.
This advice was confirmed by the Madras High Court.
The EPFO Officers are not in the mood to provide higher pension benefits to retirees. So, I at this moment advise filing a joint option forthwith. Please follow the following guidelines.
2. For existing employees as well as those retirees who retired on 1.09.2014 and thereafter, got a chance to file joint option upto 03.03.2023 for taking higher pension subject they have been contributing PF on actual salary or had contributed on actual salary(without ceiling limit) for their active service for 10 years.
Therefore, please mobilize all employees to opt joint option forthwith.
This opportunity is available up to 03.03.2023. Therefore, please inspire other employees to file forthwith joint option Format.
