ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!! | EPS 95 Pensioners

This is a very serious issue concerning all VSP Pensioners who have received demand notices and/or those pre-2014 and post-2014 retirees and employees. The very eligibility of VSP pensioners is under question because of the inept handling of the matter by VSP EPF Trust and the RPFC, Visakhapatnam. Pl pay attention.

Almost every member knows that the RPFC, Visakhapatnam has generated PPOs  to about 10 VSP retirees sanctioning higher pensions towards the end of February, 2024, without actually crediting the higher pension in the respective bank accounts. In two cases, they have credited and debited the higher pension amounts also.

The subsequent developments have already been shared in the groups.

Meanwhile, some members have raised formal grievances at various levels in the grievance mechanisms of the government.

As you are aware,  there were 2-3 meetings also with the local RPFC who unabashedly made us believe that some clarifications were sought from the Zonal Office and they are yet to receive the same from the latter.

The letters which are shared here are from the Zonal Office to the RPFC Visakhapatnam, rebuking the RPFC for unnecessarily referring Pensioners to their office when RPFC himself is the appropriate competent  authority regarding higher pensions.

This fact has been evidently concealed by RPFC.

If one goes through the shared communications from Zonal Office, it will be clearly understood that the issue is not what we are made to believe, but it is because of certain dispute regarding audit, investments, reserve/ surplus of the fund held by the VSP EPF Trust.

As you all know, the Trust accounts are being audited year to year since decades.

It is not known why, if it all there was some query about the above issues, the same were not noticed or raised before sending demand notices or at least before generating PPOs.

Did the local RPFC Office sleep over or become blind all these years and suddenly wake up? The lapse, is  therefore, also on the part of the RPFC Visakhapatnam and this is the reason why they are not able to return the fund back to VSP Trust or to the retirees and are dodging from the issue.

The strong letters from the Zonal Office to RPFC Vizag clearly indicate that RPFC did not act dutifully.

In any case, whatever happens between the Trust and the PF office is for them to settle and the retirees cannot be made by vicariously responsible.

What is surprising is that even the VSP EPF Trust Management also appears to be not responsible and responsive.

Members may  kindly note that, hitherto we were thinking that our issue is about contributions over and above salary of ₹6500/-/₹15000/-on the lines of Bhilai Bokaro BHEL Salem etc. But it’s not so.

Ours is specific to VSP and the time has come to fight it out.

IT IS WE  WHO HAVE TO CLEAR THE MUCK CREATED BY THE MANAGEMENT OF VSP, VSP EPF TRUST AND RPFC, VIZAG. There can be no room for complacency.

PS: after receipt of the copies of Zonal Office letters from Sri D Srinivas, another Remitter of demanded sum, I have brought the entire episode to the notice of CPFC, New Delhi and issued letters to CMD, DP, DF, PF Trust and all concerned.
